Privacy notice

This notice explains how Ezekiel Lara, a Texas sole proprietor, handles information in the Reader Library and the Haven Protocol and No One marketing sites. Questions and requests may be sent to privacy@longreturnsaga.com.

Information collected

• Account data such as email address, display name, authentication records, and session information.
• Billing records such as Stripe customer, checkout, payment, invoice, refund, dispute, subscription, product, and entitlement identifiers. Stripe receives payment-card data; the Reader Library does not.
• Billing details collected by Stripe when needed to process a payment, prevent fraud, or operate a payment method.
• Reading progress, chapter activity, survey responses, and feedback you choose to submit.
• Basic analytics such as page or chapter events, an anonymous identifier, source, campaign, referrer, and event properties.
• Support messages and technical logs used to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

Why it is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, provide purchased access, process and reconcile payments, save reading progress, collect voluntary feedback, understand aggregate service use, respond to requests, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain records, and comply with law. It is not sold, used for third-party advertising, or used to build advertising profiles. No newsletter is offered at launch.

Service providers

Stripe processes checkout, billing, payment methods, and fraud screening. Supabase/PostgreSQL and object storage hold application data and protected media. Hosting, infrastructure, monitoring, and email providers process the minimum information needed to run and support the service. The title marketing sites request Google Fonts, which can disclose your IP address and browser information to Google. Providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Retention and deletion

Account, entitlement, progress, and feedback data are kept while the account is active and then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. Payment, refund, dispute, tax, and access records may be kept for up to seven years. Support records may be kept for up to two years unless needed for a dispute, security event, or legal duty. Operational backups may persist for up to 30 days after deletion. Authentication delivery tokens are scrubbed after delivery. Technical logs and aggregate analytics are kept only as long as reasonably useful for security and product operation.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information by emailing privacy@longreturnsaga.com from your account email. We may verify identity before acting. Some transaction and security records must be retained even after account deletion. You can keep reading public chapters without an account and can avoid submitting surveys. Browser controls can clear local storage and limit cookies.

Children and security

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online system is risk-free. Report suspected security issues to security@longreturnsaga.com.

Changes

This notice will be updated when material data practices, providers, or launch markets change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
